The Community Radio Awards (CRA) have been setup to celebrate community radio and all the hard work and time that the volunteers involved in community radio put into their stations, shows and communities.
The awards ceremony offers radio professionals and radio lovers alike the chance to check out fresh new talent, entertainment, and community projects. With over 350 fantastic entrants and 70 nominees, the event is arguably the highlight of the community radio calendar.
Prior to Nutickets coming on board, CRA used a third-party ticketing site for their ticket sales. Unfortunately, this was not mobile optimised, putting sales at risk. The seating plans were also completed manually, a huge task considering the audience of hundreds. Using a third-party site meant that CRA’s brand identity was diluted, taking away from the overall message of the event.
CRA needed an all-in-one, mobile optimised ticket shop. In addition to this, they required a seamless reserved seating feature that assigned attendees to their preferred seating at the venue. With the majority of customers favouring booking on their mobiles over desktop computers, it was vital that CRA had a fully mobile optimised ticket shop. Customers could purchase on the go, regardless of their location, in an attractive and easy-to-use mobile ticket shop on the client’s own website. This made the entire process quick and convenient, in turn increasing conversions.
