Nutickets joins The Heritage Railway Association

Company News, 26 April

We are delighted to announce that we have joined the Heritage Railway Association (HRA)!

The HRA is the trade association for heritage railways throughout the UK. Their members include over 150 operational heritage railways, that run trains between some 460 stations.

We’ve found heritage organisations look for strong digital partners to help them navigate the complexities of technology. We’re joining the HRA to help fill this gap for the UK’s Heritage Railways.

We worked with Great Central Railway, Leicestershire's most famous heritage railway, during the pandemic. Together we delivered a seamless online booking experience, reserved seating and a complete box office.

The new system went live with fantastic feedback from both customers and staff, including Michael Stokes, Marketing Manager at GCR who said:

“Nutickets has strong expertise in user experiences that will help provide an easy, intuitive digital experience for our customers. Backed by leading technology, we can continue to promote the region’s rich railway heritage, and inspire a new generation to get involved in our railway story.”

Joining the HRA will help us to build on these strong relationships and offer our heritage railway customers an even better service. We’re really looking forward to working more closely with the HRA and it's members in the coming months.

As part of our membership, we’ll be exhibiting at their annual Heritage Railway Show in Birmingham this September. Come and say hello if you’re attending!
