Unit 10 Eventive are an experiential events agency based in Manchester, describing their mission as “to devise, design and deliver creative solutions for retail destinations to drive footfall and increase dwell times at your sites.”
The creative team at Unit 10 Eventive are responsible for the world’s first live ‘Gruffalo Experience’, as well as a number of other events. Nutickets has been Unit 10’s sole ticketing and event technology supplier for all of their events, dealing with fluctuating capacities and changing locations to ensure that all of Unit 10’s events are the best that they can be.
Challenge / Objectives
With thousands of guests coming through their events, it is important for Unit 10 Eventive to have a well-run show, from ticket purchase to the end of the guided event. When searching for an event technology supplier, this was a vital factor for Unit 10, alongside finding a solution that could be customised to suit them.

With our bespoke, customisable solution, we have added new features for Unit 10 Eventive, including the option for ticket purchasers to make a charitable donation at the basket page. To help produce a well-run show, we provide Unit 10 with flexible capacity management for their timeslot events. This ensures that each slot has the right amount of guests, enabling the capacity to be increased or decreased as they see fit.
Solution and Benefits
Nutickets have partnered with Unit 10 Eventive for all four of their events; three Gruffalo Experiences – in Sheffield, Kent and Milton Keynes – as well as their Santa’s Secret Workshop experiential event at Manchester’s intu Trafford Centre. All four events have been massive sell-out successes, with multiple timeslots per day, and events running for weeks on end. Altogether, this means that over 90,000 tickets have been sold and processed using Nutickets, with a bespoke mobile optimised ticketshop designed and integrated with the events’ websites as well as an onsite box office. Customers have been able to select the date and time for attendance with ease, and also offered the option to swap their tickets if they wanted to change their selection after purchase.
Data is power, and Unit 10 Eventive are able to tailor the data capture questions as part of customer registration and ticket purchase. This allows Unit 10 to learn more about where their guests are coming from, or the age of children attending, so as to provide a more advanced event experience with all the data in real-time.
From start to finish, Nutickets worked closely with Unit 10 Eventive to ensure that their events are set up and running smoothly at every point. Providing a dedicated account manager who guides Unit 10 through their journey enables us to react quickly to any changes in event demand or respond to system requests. We are always on hand to provide technical and logistical support, and offer a number of added extras as well as a ticketing system. This includes the option to upsell merchandise in the ticket buying process, encouraging spending and increasing revenue.
